Two Thumbs Up

It's a great place to work especially if you like to work with people you like!  It's been a joy for me to work for the Dietary Manager.  She is fair, fun to work for and always has some great food to serve.  I enjoy being part of the team that feeds our residents such nutritious meals.  We serve anything from ethnic food to BBQ to the best pizza ever!  Sometimes I forget its work because I love the residents.  Two thumbs up!!

The Cook

I love the teamwork

I love the teamwork and communication of my co-workers at the Golden Oaks Long Term Care Center.  I like how the nurses keep us informed on our residents and I love how the residents can make their rooms their own and create such a home atmosphere.  I appreciate my administrator and the leadership team.  I enjoy the inservices and how the maintenance staff is quick to respond to work orders.  It makes our jobs so much more pleasant and enjoyable.  I especially love my residents.  They are patient and kind.

I love my Job

I have worked at Golden Oaks for more than eight years.  My residents are the number one reason I stay here.  Each day I come to work I get to see the familiar faces of staff and residents.   We offer a variety of services and activities that keep the residents connected.  Our General Manager and his leadership team are very professional.  It's an awesome atmosphere to be a part of.

The Transportation Specialist

I love being part of a community

I love the sense of community that I get from working here.  We have a wonderful facility and staff.  As a maintenance technician I get to help residents with tasks and it feels like helping out a friend.  I enjoy the variety of tasks that I perform through the day as I can tell how much they appreciate the help.  As someone who likes to stay busy, the new challenges each day keep me engaged as an employee.  Overall, it is very gratifying work and I love being part of the community.
